This year, the Edinburgh festival has 50 shows concerning religion. Most of them ridiculing the concept. There's an article giving an overview of these events in the Times online.

Some people just have no sense of humor.
It is unfortunate that the UK has been so polluted by US "ideals", religious and otherwise, that its identity as a separate nation is endangered.
