With regard to famous (British) humourous folks who no longer believe their childhood religious brain-washing, I see that Jeremy Clarkson is an atheist too! Many dislike him, his wit, and his somewhat condescending attitude, but his humour appeals to me because he is over-the-top, sarcastic and more importantly, honest. Come on, you have got to admire someone who has one of these parked in his front garden!
